Before the unit test, you should:

ü Be able to define the following words:

·        Compost

·        Decomposer

·        Dump

·        Hazardous

·        Waste

·        Landfill

 

ü Understand what items should be composted, recycled, reused or thrown away.

ü Be able to give examples of different decomposers found in the soil.

ü Know the difference between toxic and non-toxic and be able to give examples of each.

ü Be able to identify the hazardous waste symbols.

ü Review the different types of packaging available when you buy something.

ü Be able to identify the garbage R’s and examples of each.
